Dr. Ashish Vachhani, born on 19 July 1970, is a 1997 batch IAS officer of the Tamil Nadu cadre. He holds a B.Sc. in Botany from Delhi University, an M.Phil. in International Studies from JNU New Delhi, and an M.Sc. in Public Management from the London School of Economics. Throughout his career, he has served in various capacities including District Collector, Deputy Secretary, Principal Secretary, Resident Commissioner, and Adviser to Executive Director. Since 13 May 2025, he has been serving as Additional Secretary at New Delhi. He is proficient in English and Hindi. Dr. Vachhani is currently in service.
