Ashish Srivastava, born on October 4, 1966, is a 1992 batch IAS officer of the Madhya Pradesh cadre. He holds a B.Sc. Engineering from A.M.U., an LL.B. from Devi Ahilya University Indore, and an M.Tech. in Electronics from IIT Delhi. Currently serving as Secretary in the Ministry of Home Affairs since April 18, 2025, he has held various positions including Additional Secretary, Joint Secretary, Resident Commissioner, Director General, District Collector and Magistrate, and Advisor at the Inter State Council Secretariat. He received recognition for e-Governance in 2003. He is proficient in English, Hindi, and Sanskrit.
