Ashish Kumar Bhatgai, born on 10 February 1980, is an Indian Administrative Service officer of the 2017 batch, serving in the Uttarakhand cadre. He holds a Bachelor of Engineering degree in Mechanical Engineering. Currently, he is the District Magistrate at Pithoragarh, Uttarakhand, a position he has held since 12 October 2025. Prior to this, he has served as a District Magistrate in other capacities. He continues to serve in the Indian Administrative Service.
