Ashish Chandra Verma, born on 12 June 1969, is an Indian Administrative Service officer from the 1994 batch, serving in the A G M U T cadre. He holds an M.B.B.S. degree and is proficient in English and Hindi. Currently, he is the Financial Commissioner (Additional Chief Secretary) at the Tourism Department, Jammu and Kashmir, a position he has held since 12 July 2025. Previously, he served as Principal Secretary. Mr. Verma continues to serve in the Indian Administrative Service, contributing to the administration and development within his cadre.
