Ashish Bhargava, born on 14 February 1980, is an Indian Administrative Service officer from the 2012 Madhya Pradesh cadre. He holds a B.A. in Economics from Delhi University SRCC, an M.A. in Economics from the University of Rajasthan, and a MicroMasters in Development Economics from MIT. Currently, he serves as Additional Secretary in the Home Department and ED at Bhopal since 20 March 2025. His previous roles include Director General, Deputy Secretary, Additional Land Reforms Commissioner, Additional Excise Commissioner, Additional Commissioner, District Collector and Magistrate, Principal Secretary, Chief Executive Officer, and other administrative positions. He is proficient in English and Hindi.
