Ashima Mittal, an Indian Administrative Service officer of the 2018 batch from the Maharashtra cadre, was born on June 30, 1992. She holds an M.A. in Anthropology from IGNOU Delhi. Currently, she serves as the District Collector at Jalna, Maharashtra, a position she has held since July 30, 2025. Prior to this, she was the Chief Executive Officer of the Zilla Parishad. Ashima Mittal continues to serve in the Indian Administrative Service.
