Ashim Kumar Das, born on January 1, 1949, is a retired Indian Administrative Service officer from the 1988 batch, West Bengal cadre. He holds a graduate degree in Physics. During his career, he served in various capacities including Additional District Magistrate, Joint Secretary, Secretary, and notably as Secretary of the Health and Family Welfare Department from January 17, 2006, to December 31, 2008. His extensive service in administrative roles reflects his commitment to public administration within the West Bengal cadre.
