Asangba Chuba Ao, born on 17 July 1975, is an Indian Administrative Service officer of the 2003 Bihar cadre. He holds a B.A. and M.A. in English Literature and an M.A. in Public Administration. Currently, he serves as Joint Secretary in the Department of Civil Aviation, Ministry of Civil Aviation, New Delhi (since 2 January 2023). His past roles include Secretary, Divisional Commissioner, Special Secretary, Commissioner, Additional Secretary, District Officer, District Collector and District Magistrate, Managing Director, and Sub Divisional Officer. He is proficient in English, Hindi, and Nagamese. He remains in active service.
