Aryaka Akhoury, an IAS officer of the 2013 Uttar Pradesh cadre, was born on 14 December 1985. She holds a B.Sc. and M.Sc. in Botany from the University of Delhi. Currently, she serves as Deputy Secretary in the Department of Personnel Training (DoPT) in New Delhi since 19 March 2026. Her previous roles include Collector and District Magistrate, Special Secretary, Chief Development Officer, Deputy Collector and Sub-Divisional Magistrate, and Assistant Secretary. Aryaka has received the Best Electoral Practice Award 2022, secured 2nd position in the Best Performing Municipal Council category under PMAY(U), and was recognized for Best Performance in Swachhta Hi Seva ab
