Throughout his career, he served in various capacities including Member, Additional Chief Secretary, Director General, Principal Secretary to Governor, Chief Electoral Officer, Secretary, Finance Commissioner, Labour Commissioner, and Special Secretary. He retired as Chairman Secretary at the Shri Krishna Institute of Public Administration (SKIPA) from December 28, 2013, to August 31, 2014. His extensive service in the Indian Administrative Service reflects a diverse administrative experience.
