Arvind Kumar Chaudhary, born on 21 November 1970, is a 1995 batch IAS officer of the Bihar cadre. He holds a B.Tech. in Civil Engineering and an M.Tech. Currently, he serves as the Additional Chief Secretary in the Home Department of Bihar since 18 June 2025. Throughout his career, he has held various positions including Commissioner, Principal Secretary, Secretary, Project Director, Managing Director, Additional Chief Electoral Officer, Special District Development Officer, Additional Secretary, District Collector and Magistrate, Controller, Director, and Sub-Divisional Officer. He is proficient in English and Hindi and continues to serve in the Indian Administrative Service.
