Arvind Kumar, born on 18 February 1963, is a retired Indian Administrative Service officer from the 1988 Uttar Pradesh cadre. He holds a graduate degree in Electrical Engineering and a postgraduate degree in Communication Engineering. Throughout his career, he served in various capacities, including Joint Secretary, Chief Vigilance Officer, Director, Commissioner, Special Commissioner, District Magistrate, Special Secretary, District Collector and Magistrate, Chief Officer, Chief Development Officer, and Assistant Collector. His most recent position was Additional Chief Secretary in the Infrastructure and Industrial Development Department from 1 May 2022 to 28 February 2023.
