Arunima De, born on September 23, 1966, is an Indian Administrative Service officer of the 2011 batch, serving in the West Bengal cadre. She holds an M.Sc. in Economics. Currently, she is the Senior Special Secretary in the Home and Hill Affairs Department, a position she has held since January 1, 2024. Prior to this, she also served as Senior Special Secretary. Arunima De continues to be in service within the Indian Administrative Service.
