Aruna Bagchee, born on September 8, 1946, is a retired Indian Administrative Service officer from the 1973 Maharashtra cadre. She holds a Ph.D. in Sociology, a postgraduate degree in Political Science, and a Diploma in French. Throughout her career, she served in various capacities including Assistant Collector, Additional Collector, Deputy Secretary, District Collector, Joint Commissioner, Director, Secretary, Managing Director, and Joint Secretary. Her most recent position was Additional Commissioner in Maharashtra. Her extensive experience spans multiple administrative roles within the state government.
