Arun Sinha, born on 19 May 1939, is a retired Indian Administrative Service officer from the 1962 Gujarat cadre. He held various positions throughout his career, including Secretary at Gujarat from 1 May 1995 to 31 May 1997. His service spanned multiple roles such as Secretary, Member Secretary, Additional Secretary, Joint Secretary, Resident Commissioner, Director, Deputy Secretary, District Collector, Controller, and Assistant Collector. He served in the Department of Consumer Affairs, Food and Public Distribution. Arun Sinha’s academic qualifications include a Diploma in Public Administration, a postgraduate degree in Political Science, and a graduate degree in Economics.
