Arun Singhal, born on 15 April 1965, is an Indian Administrative Service officer from the 1987 batch, Uttar Pradesh cadre. He holds a B.Tech. in Electrical Engineering. Currently, he serves as Director General at the National Archives of India, Ministry of Culture, New Delhi (since 21 April 2023). Throughout his career, he has held various positions including Secretary, Chief Executive Officer, Special Secretary, Additional Secretary, Joint Secretary, Chief Vigilance Officer, Director, District Magistrate, and others. He is proficient in English, Hindi, and Urdu. Arun Singhal continues to serve in the IAS with a diverse administrative portfolio.
