Arun Mishra, born on 26 June 1962, is a retired Indian Administrative Service officer from the 1986 West Bengal cadre. He holds postgraduate and graduate degrees in Chemistry, along with an MBA in Public Policy from the University of Birmingham. Throughout his career, he served in various capacities including Sub Divisional Officer, Additional Executive Officer, Additional District Magistrate, District Magistrate, Commissioner, Special Secretary, Joint Secretary, Director, and Representative. His most recent position was Director General in the Civil Aviation Department from 26 July 2012 to 25 July 2013.
