Arun Kumar Sinha, born on 14 May 1957, is a retired IAS officer from the 1983 Uttar Pradesh cadre. He holds degrees in Civil Engineering, an M.B.A. in Business Administration, and an M.Tech. in Water Resources Development. Throughout his career, he served in various capacities including Joint Magistrate, Managing Director, Joint Secretary, Special Secretary Director, Commissioner, Secretary to the Chief Minister, and Principal Secretary. His most recent position was Additional Chief Secretary to the Government in the Health and Family Welfare Department from 8 August 2016 to 31 May 2017.
