Arun Kumar Panda, born on April 30, 1960, is a retired Indian Administrative Service officer from the 1984 Odisha cadre. He holds a Ph.D. in Political Economy, a postgraduate degree in Political Science, and a B.Sc. (Hons) in Political Science. Throughout his career, he served in various capacities including Additional Secretary, Joint Secretary, Principal Secretary, Commissioner & Secretary, Vice Chairman, Special Secretary, Revenue Divisional Commissioner, Director, Development Commissioner, Project Officer, Settlement Officer, and Sub-Divisional Officer. His most recent role was Secretary of the Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises and Textiles Department from July 1, 2017, to April 30, 2020.
