Arun Kumar Mago, born on 27 September 1944, is a retired Indian Administrative Service officer from the 1967 Maharashtra cadre. He holds postgraduate degrees in Physics and Management, along with a graduate degree in Physics. Over his distinguished career, he served in various capacities including Metropolitan Commissioner, Chairman, Principal Secretary, Secretary, Managing Director, Commissioner, Additional Municipal Commissioner, Joint Secretary, Director, District Collector, Deputy Secretary, Under Secretary, CEO, and Assistant Collector. His most recent position was Chief Secretary to the Government of Maharashtra. Mr. Mago’s extensive experience reflects a broad spectrum of administrative roles within the state government.
