Arun Kr Kembhavi, an IAS officer of the 2011 batch belonging to the Assam Meghalaya cadre, was born on 19/07/1985. He holds a B.E. in Mechanical Engineering from Visveswaraiah Technological University, Belgaum, Karnataka, and a Masters in Public Policy from IGNOU. Currently serving as Deputy Secretary in the Drinking Water & Sanitation Department, he is proficient in English and Kannada.
