He holds a B.E. in Mechanical Engineering from Visveswaraiah Technological University, Belgaum, Karnataka, and a Masters in Public Policy from IGNOU. Currently serving as Deputy Secretary in the Drinking Water & Sanitation Department, he is proficient in English and Kannada.
