Arun K R Roy, born on January 3, 1940, is a retired Indian Administrative Service officer from the 1987 batch, West Bengal cadre. During his service, he held the position of Additional District Magistrate from July 1, 1996, to January 31, 1998. He also served as Director of Census Operations in the Land Revenue Department. His career in the IAS was marked by his roles in administrative and census operations within West Bengal.
