Arun Goel, born on 7 December 1962, is a retired Indian Administrative Service officer from the 1985 Punjab cadre. He holds a B.A. and M.Sc. in Mathematics from Punjabi University, Patiala, and a PG Diploma in Development Economics from the University of California. Throughout his career, he served in various capacities including Secretary, Special Secretary, Additional Secretary, Financial Adviser, Vice Chairman, Joint Secretary, Principal Secretary, Director, Managing Director, Deputy Commissioner, Under Secretary, President, Chief Administrator, Additional Deputy Commissioner, and Sub-Divisional Officer.
