During his career, he held various positions including Secretary, Joint Secretary, Additional Secretary, District Collector and Magistrate, and Special Secretary. His most recent role was Special Secretary at Patna, Bihar, in the Rural Development Department from January 18, 2011, to June 30, 2011.
