Arun Bhushan Prasad, born on July 1, 1947, is a retired Indian Administrative Service officer from the 1988 Bihar cadre. He holds an LL.B. in Law and a postgraduate degree in English. Throughout his career, he served in various capacities including Commissioner, District Collector and Magistrate, Special Secretary, Administrator, Additional Secretary, Joint Secretary, and District Magistrate. His most recent designation was Commissioner from November 11, 2006, to June 30, 2007. He was associated with the Land Revenue Department as the Director of Census Operations.
