Arpit Upadhyaya, born on 24 July 1989, is an Indian Administrative Service officer of the 2018 batch, assigned to the Uttar Pradesh cadre. He holds a Bachelor of Engineering degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Delhi. Currently, he serves as the Municipal Commissioner at Kanpur, Uttar Pradesh, a position he has held since 8 October 2025. Prior to this role, he was the Chief Development Officer. Arpit Upadhyaya continues to serve in the Indian Administrative Service.
