Arjit Ghosh, born on October 1, 1944, is a retired Indian Administrative Service officer from the 1984 batch, West Bengal cadre. He holds a graduate degree in Political Science. During his career, he served in various capacities including Additional District Magistrate and Joint Secretary. His most recent position was Director in the Social Justice and Empowerment Department, a role he held from March 3, 2000, to January 31, 2004.
