Special Secretary, Mass Education Extension and Library Services Department, West Bengal
Ardhendu Shekhar Banerjee, born on 11 February 1947, is a retired Indian Administrative Service officer from the 1990 West Bengal cadre. A graduate by education, he served in various capacities including Additional District Magistrate, Joint Secretary, Director, and Member Secretary. His most recent position was Special Secretary in the Mass Education Extension and Library Services Department, West Bengal, from 29 December 2005 to 28 February 2007. Throughout his career, Banerjee contributed to the administrative framework of West Bengal until his retirement.
