Arbind Prasad, born on March 8, 1956, is a retired Indian Administrative Service officer from the 1980 Bihar cadre. He holds an M.Phil. in Philosophy, a graduate degree in Electrical Engineering, and a Ph.D. in Economics. Throughout his career, he served in various capacities including Adviser in the Department of Planning and Programme Implementation from December 2010 to April 2012. His extensive experience includes roles such as Joint Secretary, Secretary, Director, Commissioner, Managing Director, District Collector and Magistrate, Additional Secretary, Deputy Development Commissioner and CEO, Under Secretary, and Sub-Divisional Officer.
