Apneet Riyait, born on January 8, 1983, is an Indian Administrative Service officer of the 2011 batch, Punjab cadre. She holds a B.A. in Political Science from Gurunanak Dev University, Amritsar, an M.A. in Political Science from JNU New Delhi, and an M.Phil in Political Science. Currently, she serves as the Special Secretary in the Housing and Urban Development Department, Punjab, since September 12, 2024. Her previous roles include multiple tenures as Special Secretary and Deputy Commissioner. She is proficient in English and Punjabi and continues to serve in the Indian Administrative Service.
