Apala Sett, born on September 2, 1967, is an Indian Administrative Service officer of the 2010 batch, assigned to the West Bengal cadre. She holds a B.A. and an M.A. degree. Currently, she serves as the Senior Special Secretary in the Tribal Development Department of West Bengal, a position she has held since January 19, 2026. Previously, she was on compulsory wait. Apala Sett continues to serve in the Indian Administrative Service.
