Anurag Verma, born on 17 July 1969, is an Indian Administrative Service officer of the 1993 batch from the Punjab cadre. He holds a B.E. degree from Thapar Institute of Engineering and Technology, Patiala. Currently, he serves as the Additional Chief Secretary-cum-Financial Commissioner in the Department of Revenue and Rehabilitation since 9 October 2024. Throughout his career, he has held multiple key positions including Chief Secretary to Government, Principal Secretary, Secretary, Excise & Taxation Commissioner, Managing Director, Commissioner, Special Secretary, Deputy Commissioner, and various other administrative roles. He is proficient in English, Hindi, and Punjabi.
