Anurag Srivastav, born on 19 May 1983, is a retired IAS officer from the 2007 West Bengal cadre. He holds a B.Tech. in Mechanical Engineering from IIT Kanpur and completed MicroMasters Programs in Economic Administration from MIT. Throughout his career, he served in various capacities including Secretary of the Food- Public Distribution and Consumer Affairs Department from January to November 2023. His past roles encompass Additional Secretary, Managing Director, Director, District Magistrate, Joint Secretary, Additional District Magistrate, Land Reforms Officer, Under Secretary, Officer on Special Duty to Minister, Sub Divisional Officer, Assistant Magistrate, and Senior Special Secretary.
