Anurag Jain, a 1989 batch IAS officer of the Madhya Pradesh cadre, currently serves as the Chief Secretary of Madhya Pradesh since October 3, 2024. He holds a B.Tech. in Electrical Engineering and a MicroMasters in Development Economics from MIT. Throughout his career, he has held various key positions including Secretary, Vice Chairman, Joint Secretary, Chief Executive Officer, Secretary to the Chief Minister, Commissioner, Executive Director, Managing Director, and District Collector. He has been recognized for his role in implementing the PM GatiShakti National Master Plan. Anurag Jain is proficient in English and Hindi.
