Anupam Rajan, born on November 1, 1968, is a 1993 batch IAS officer of the Madhya Pradesh cadre. He holds M.A. degrees in Sociology and another discipline from Jawaharlal Nehru University, New Delhi. Currently serving as Additional Chief Secretary (ACS) in the Higher Education Department since December 1, 2024, he has held various key positions including Additional Chief Secretary, Ex-Officio Principal Secretary, Chief Electoral Officer, Commissioner, Managing Director, Additional Secretary, Director, Secretary, District Collector, CEO, Sub-Divisional Officer, and Assistant Collector. He is proficient in English and Hindi and continues to serve in the Indian Administrative Service.
