Anupam Anand, born on July 5, 1976, is an IAS officer of the 2000 batch from the Gujarat cadre. He currently serves as Joint Secretary at the Indian National Space Promotion and Authorisation Centre (IN SPACe), Department of Space, Ahmedabad, Gujarat, since January 15, 2026. Anand holds a graduate degree in History (Honors), an M.A. in International Politics from JNU, New Delhi, and an Executive MPA from Maxwell School, Syracuse University. His past roles include Commissioner, Labour Commissioner, Chief Executive Officer, Additional Chief Executive Officer, Municipal Commissioner, District Collector, and District Development Officer. He is proficient in English, Hindi, and Gujarati.
