Anup Wadhawan, born on June 30, 1961, is a retired Indian Administrative Service officer from the 1985 batch, Uttarakhand cadre. He holds a B.A. Honours in Economics, a Ph.D. in Economics, and a postgraduate degree in Economics. Throughout his career, he served in various capacities including Officer on Special Duty, Special Secretary, Additional Secretary, Director General, Joint Secretary, Secretary, Sr. Utilities Specialist, Director, District Collector and Magistrate, Chief Development Officer, and Additional Collector. His most recent position was Secretary in the Commerce and Industry Department from August 1, 2018, to June 30, 2021.
