Anup Chandra Pandey, born on 15 February 1959, is a retired Indian Administrative Service officer from the 1984 Uttar Pradesh cadre. He holds a Ph.D. in Ancient History, a B.E. in Mechanical Engineering, and an M.B.A. in Material Management. Throughout his career, he served in various capacities including Additional Secretary, Joint Secretary, Secretary, Secretary to the Chief Minister, Commissioner, District Magistrate, and Managing Director. His most recent position was Additional Secretary from 7 April 2015 to 28 February 2019. Pandey's extensive administrative experience spans multiple roles across state and central government departments.
