Antara Acharya, born on 24 April 1976, is an Indian Administrative Service officer of the 2006 batch, West Bengal cadre. She holds a B.A. and M.A. from Jadavpur University, Kolkata. Currently serving as Secretary in the Public Works Department since 2 June 2022, she has held various positions including Secretary, Chief Executive Officer, District Magistrate, Additional District Magistrate, Collector, Executive Magistrate, Sub Divisional Officer, and Assistant Collector. Fluent in English and Hindi, Antara Acharya continues to contribute to the administrative framework of West Bengal.
