Anshul Kumar, born on January 13, 1991, is an Indian Administrative Service officer of the 2016 batch, serving in the Bihar cadre. He holds a Bachelor of Engineering degree in Electrical Engineering from Motilal Nehru National Institute of Technology, Allahabad. Currently, he is the District Magistrate of Purnia, Bihar, a position he has held since June 2, 2025. His previous roles include Assistant Secretary and Collector. Anshul Kumar continues to serve in the IAS, contributing to the administration of Bihar.
