Anshul Gupta, born on 15 April 1985, is an Indian Administrative Service officer of the 2013 batch, allocated to the West Bengal cadre. He holds a B.Tech. degree from N.A. BHUIIT. Currently, he serves as the Special Secretary in the Urban Development Department of West Bengal since 23 March 2026. Throughout his career, he has held various positions including Sub Divisional Officer, Officer on Special Duty, Assistant Secretary, Managing Director, Additional District Magistrate, District Election Officer, CEO, and Special Secretary. He is proficient in English, Hindi, and Bengali. Anshul Gupta continues to serve in the IAS.
