Anshul Agarwal, born on January 20, 1989, is an Indian Administrative Service officer of the 2016 Bihar cadre. He holds a B.Tech in Civil Engineering from IIT Bombay. Currently, he serves as the Inspector General of Registration-cum-Excise Commissioner at Bihar’s Prohibition Excise and Registration Department, a position he has held since September 11, 2025. His previous roles include Assistant Secretary and Collector and District Magistrate. Anshul Agarwal continues to serve in the IAS, contributing to the administration of Bihar.
