Anshu Sinha, born on January 7, 1972, is a 1999 batch IAS officer of the Maharashtra cadre. She holds a B.Sc. and M.Sc. from Allahabad University and an M.Sc. from King's College London. Currently, she serves as the Principal Secretary (Textile) in the Co-operation, Marketing and Textile Department, Mumbai, since January 8, 2025. Throughout her career, she has held various positions including Assistant Collector, District Collector, Joint Secretary, Director, and Additional Commissioner. She was awarded the 1st INTERPOL Global Programme on Anti Corruption and Asset Recovery. She is proficient in English, Hindi, and Marathi.
