Dr. Anoop Kumar, born on 15 August 1964, is a 1990 batch Indian Administrative Service officer of the Maharashtra cadre. He holds an M.A. and an M.Phil. Currently, he serves as the Additional Chief Secretary at Mumbai in the Agriculture, Animal Husbandry, Dairy Development and Fisheries Department since 12 June 2023. Throughout his career, he has held various positions, including Divisional Commissioner, Director, Executive Director, General Manager, District Collector, Additional Collector, and Private Secretary. Dr. Kumar is proficient in Bengali, English, Hindi, Sanskrit, and Urdu. He remains in active service.
