She is currently serving as the Central Prabhari Officer at Marwah Block, Kishtwar, Jammu & Kashmir, a position she has held since October 1, 2025. Her previous roles include District Magistrate (North-West), Sub-Divisional Magistrate, and Assistant Secretary. Fluent in English and Hindi, Ankita Anand continues to serve in the Indian Administrative Service.
