Anjum Parwez, born on February 3, 1969, is a 1994 batch IAS officer of the Karnataka cadre. He holds a B.Tech. from IIT Delhi and a postgraduate degree from IIM Bangalore. Currently, he serves as the Additional Chief Secretary to the Chief Minister of Karnataka since June 5, 2025. Throughout his career, he has held multiple key positions including Additional Chief Secretary to Government and Minister, Principal Secretary to Government, Secretary to Government, Administrative Secretary, Managing Director, Chairman, Director, Deputy Commissioner, Chief Executive Officer, Deputy Secretary, and Assistant Commissioner. He is proficient in English, Hindi, and Kannada.
