Anjani Kumar Singh, born on February 5, 1958, is a retired Indian Administrative Service officer from the 1981 Bihar cadre. He holds graduate and postgraduate degrees in Geography. During his career, he served in various capacities including District Magistrate, Deputy Commissioner, Joint Secretary, Additional Secretary, Director, Secretary, and Principal Secretary to the Chief Minister. His most recent position was Chief Secretary to the Government in the Personnel and Administrative Reforms Department from June 30, 2014, to February 28, 2018. Singh’s extensive service reflects a broad administrative experience within the Bihar state government.
