Fluent in English, Hindi, Punjabi, and Russian, she has served in various capacities including District Collector, Divisional Commissioner, Managing Director, and multiple secretary-level roles. Since April 21, 2023, she is serving as Secretary in the Department of Minority Affairs under the Ministry of Minority Affairs in New Delhi. She continues to be an active member of the Indian Administrative Service.
