Principal Secretary, Personnel and Administrative Reforms Department
Anita Singh, an IAS officer from the 1990 batch of the Uttar Pradesh cadre, was born on May 12, 1964. She holds a postgraduate degree in Psychology. Throughout her career, she served in various capacities including District Magistrate, Secretary, Additional Chief Secretary, and Director General. She also held key roles such as Secretary to the Chief Minister and Special Secretary to the Governor. Her most recent position was Principal Secretary in the Personnel and Administrative Reforms Department from March 30, 2023, to May 31, 2024. Anita Singh is now retired from the Indian Administrative Service.
