Anita Bhatnagar Jain, born on November 2, 1959, is a retired Indian Administrative Service officer from the 1985 batch, Uttar Pradesh cadre. She holds a graduate degree in English, a postgraduate degree in Sociology, and a PG Diploma in Environmental Laws from the University of Lucknow. Throughout her career, she served in various capacities including Joint Secretary, Secretary, Divisional Commissioner, Labour Commissioner, Managing Director, Vice Chairman, District Collector and Magistrate, Director, Special Secretary, Chief Development Officer, Deputy Secretary, Assistant Collector, and Special Land Acquisition Officer. Her extensive experience spans multiple administrative roles within the Uttar Pradesh government.
